Family owned and established in 1977, Northern Aire Aluminum has been servicing families with their remodeling needs as well as builders with new construction homes in local areas for over 30 years. President and Owner Jim Donahoe started Northern Aire at the request and with the support of local builders looking for good quality siding work from trustworthy responsible people. Since inception, Northern Aire has grown into a very strong solid company that has expanded into window replacements and installations, soffit, fascia, and trim wrapping, shutter installation, gutter installation, service & repairs, and more.

From the beginning, Jim has had the support of his entire family. At present, the company includes his wife of 42 years Nancy along with his son Mike, his daughter Kelly, his brother Joe, and long time family friend and employee of 30 years Brian Remington to mention just a few. Northern Aire, along with the Donahoe family, has been a big supporter to the local community sponsoring community events and issues near and dear to our hearts. We have sponsored and supported local sports teams, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, As Good as Gold, Golden Retriever Rescue of Northern Illinois to name just a few. We have been proud to celebrate each milestone within our company together as a family with the support of our friends. “Our employees are more than just workers – they are our friends. Northern Aire has always been family owned and operated and we plan to continue that way. “As homeowners ourselves we understand the need and want of having our own people do the simple things, such as answer the phone so when someone calls they don’t have to talk to a machine,” says Joe Donahoe, Sales Manager. We are willing to go above and beyond to satisfy our customers and will do whatever it takes to make them happy.
