VINYL SIDING: Over the years Northern Aire Aluminum, Inc. has had the pleasure of working with many different manufacturers of vinyl siding. Although we are willing to work with each homeowner individually if there is a particular brand they like or would like to use, we do work closely with several different manufacturers and are very confident in recommending their products. Alcoa Building Products is high on our list of recommended sidings, along with different Norandex and RMC products. Using a higher quality vinyl siding product lends itself to being one of the most maintenance free exterior finishes you can have on your home.
Vinyl siding is manufactured in a variety of gauges (thickness) and the final appearance is heavily dependent on the customer understanding how the gauge affects the finished look. Additionally, a good siding application begins with what is underneath – mainly a high quality house wrap. We primarily use Tyvek House Wrap on our applications, providing an increase in the overall wall R-Value as well as being a protective moisture barrier.
There are many accessories to go with Vinyl Siding to give your home that unique individual look you may be looking for. Siding comes in multiple profiles & textures, as well as a rainbow of colors. It can be purchased in vertical as well as standard horizontal panels. We can provide you with samples of all siding & accessories so you can easily visualize the end result! Samples can also be shown of Vinyl Shake accent products, window and door surrounds & lineals, different style corner accessories and more! These accessories, products, and colors allow you to truly customize you home!
ALUMINUM SIDING: Although the market trend seems to currently be pointing many homeowners toward vinyl siding, we do still see and know that many customers prefer the look, quality, and feel of aluminum siding. As aluminum siding has been around for many years before vinyl, Northern Aire has many years experience replacing and/or installing aluminum siding as well as vinyl. Aluminum siding comes in 2 different gauges of thickness, a large selection of colors, and is available through more than one quality well known manufacturer – Alcoa Building Products as well as Norandex (Reynolds) Aluminum Products. Similar to vinyl, it too comes in a variety of profiles, colors, and with many possible accessories to chose from!
CEDAR: Although not as often requested but still popular to some, Northern Aire also has experience installing Cedar Wood Siding. Cedar siding can be installed in either vertical or horizontal, and comes ready to be stained. You merely pick your stain color and you are ready to go! We handle the rest!
VINYL SHAKE SIDING: Choose from many different styles such as Staggered Edge Shakes, Fish Scale Half Round Shakes, Straight Edge Shakes…to give your home that personal individuality. These can be used as accents to vinyl siding or installed covering your entire house! With many colors to choose from, they offer a unique look that can separate your home from the rest on the block!
